Baby Signs

Sagittarius is the fire sign of the archer. Ruled by the lucky planet Jupiter, the Sagittarian baby is clever and cheerful with a wonderful sense of humor, a love of freedom and an optimistic spirit.

Your Sagittarian baby is a delight, open hearted, and full of life. He or she has got legs great for running and playing football, cricket and riding horses. One thing is for certain; those legs were not made for standing still. When he or she grows up they will carry the Sagittarian far. He or she is a born explorer. Almost all Sagittarians like the open air, love one sport or another and have the need to feel free. This, of course, can cause a few problems when they're only tiny little people but that desire to get out there and discover life is already set into place. Even when the legs haven't fully developed yet, they'll be having a good look around. If they can climb, push, jump or fall they will, and once they get their feet they'll be off.

Sagittarian babies are delightful. They have lovely sunny natures. They think life is great fun! They are incurable optimists - just watch a little Sagittarian open a package of some kind and, they won't stop grinning as they know there is something wonderful inside, and when they find out what it is watch their faces just light up.  

Your Sagittarian baby is an exciting bundle and he or she will love the outdoors but will also need intellectual stimulation. Give him or her books early on. They are loving, friendly, straightforward and honest. What you see is what you get and, when they're old enough to talk you'll find that they are lousy liars. They just can't do it - it's all in the eyes and feet. As soon as they start to lie their eyes wonder and their feet shuffle. On the other hand, because they are so honest, they expect honesty from you also. They can spot a lie or a cop out a mile away. If he or she asks why the sky is blue (and they will) and you say "because it is" that just won't be good enough for your Sagittarian.

Baby Sagittarians are always looking for adventure and they have little fear. They just know going down the stairs head first will be fun, a new experience and of course everything will be alright. Brace yourself! They can't understand why you are tearing your hair out. They talk to everyone they meet (without exception).

Little Sagittarians girls are tomboys but will look at you with a very puzzled face if you ever ask them to be more like a lady. She hasn't a clue what you mean and she thinks frilly dresses are silly.

Your baby is very much an individual; He or She will love you to pieces and show it.  When you¡¯re cross with them they¡¯re deeply wounded and, they honestly can't understand why everyone isn't as adventurous as they are. He or she is a happy-go-lucky but often will be awkward and clumsy.

Sagittarians are so friendly they have lots of friends even when they're very little. Sagittarian babies make other babies laugh; they also encourage the quiet ones to join them in mischief. Your baby will probably love playgroup and school - many even grow to be teachers. However, they are natural rebels so they may spend more time in detention than most children.

You'll probably worry about your Sagittarian as you know the dangers out there in the big wide world and, you absolutely dread seeing your baby even a little disappointed or enthusiasm crushed. Don¡¯t worry yourself too much because, Sagittarians always bounce back. They're more resilient than they look, ambitious when they choose to be and are usually very successful.
